Scope
This policy describes how Meridian Quantitative, Ltd. ("Meridian") collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with meridianmarkets.xyz (the "Site") and our advisory services. It does not apply to third-party sites, platforms, or tools we do not control.
What we collect
Information you provide:
- contact and organizational details (name, email, firm, role) when you reach out or engage us;
- correspondence and briefing inputs exchanged during engagements;
- payment and invoicing details when services are billed.
Information collected automatically:
- minimal server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for operational integrity and abuse prevention;
- aggregate site analytics — we do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Information from other sources: we may receive contact information from event organizers, introducers, or publicly available business directories.
How we use it
- to respond to inquiries and deliver the services set out in engagement letters;
- to operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- to send occasional research updates or firm announcements (only to addresses that have opted in);
- to meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use client data to train public models.
Legal bases (EEA / UK)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract (engagements), our legitimate interests (running the Site, securing infrastructure, developing our models), compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required.
How we share information
We share personal information only with:

We keep personal information for as long as needed to deliver services, comply with legal and tax obligations, and enforce our agreements. Engagement records are typically retained for seven years after the engagement ends; marketing contacts are removed promptly on request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege systems — to protect personal information. No system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Meridian operates across multiple jurisdictions; your information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Your rights
Subject to local law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@meridianmarkets.xyz. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Children
The Site is intended for institutional audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
